Playerbots

This server runs mod-playerbots — real Wrath characters driven by class logic you can command. They are not the mindless NPC escorts some private servers drop in the world.

What that actually means

A playerbot logs in as a character: race, class, talents, bags, and a mailbox. In combat it plays that class — a paladin can tank, a priest can heal, a mage can DPS — using the same spells a person would. You assign the role. You tell them to follow, stay, attack, loot, talk to a questgiver, or visit a vendor.

They remember roles, gear, and strategies between sessions. You are still the party leader. They do not replace you; they fill the seats around you so 5-mans, 10-mans, and 25-mans are playable without a full human roster.

Your companions

Characters on your account can come online as companions. Log each alt in once so it initializes, then log back to your main and invite them.

These are the bots you fully control: tank, heal, DPS, follow, loot, quests, and instance groups.

The living world

Hundreds of bots are already in Azeroth — cities, leveling, and filling the world so it does not feel empty. They play classes; they are not scenery.

That population is separate from your party. You do not have to babysit every name in Stormwind. If you queue a battleground, world bots can fill the empty faction slots. They do not start battlegrounds by themselves.

What you can have them do
Combat

Set co +tank, co +heal, or co +dps. They follow, stay, attack, flee, and use class abilities — including more specific strategies when you need them.

Dungeons & raids

Build a party or raid, summon them to you, and walk in. Difficulty scales with group size (AutoBalance). 5-mans, 10-mans, and 25-mans are the point of the system, not an afterthought.

The rest of the game

Share quests, loot, repair, buy consumables, learn spells, and sell junk — you send the order; they execute it when they are in range of the NPC.

Addons for bot management

Commands work in party chat and whispers. The Unbot addon is the in-game control panel so you are not typing every order. TipTac is recommended with it — companion info shows in enhanced tooltips. The name/level box that appears in the upper right when you mouse over a character (often over buffs) is TipTac, not Unbot. Move it with /tip anchor — full steps are on the Guide.

  1. Get the launcher from the Download page (sign up first if you have not).
  2. In the launcher Addons list, Add Unbot and TipTac (labeled Recommended - for Bot Management).
  3. At character select, click AddOns and confirm both are listed and enabled.
  4. In-game, use Unbot to manage companions. Party chat still works for the same orders (follow, attack, role commands, and the rest).

Questie, dungeon maps, and other 3.3.5a addons are optional. Extra addons from outside the launcher are use-at-your-own-risk.

First session

Create extra characters on the same account for the roles you want. Log each in once, then return to your main. Whisper /w Name help if you need that companion’s command list.
